Bandipora: Infiltration bid thwarted in J&K, 2 terrorists eliminated in joint ops by Security forces
Indian Army and J&K police in joint operation eliminated 2 terrorists in Gurez sector of Bandipora District of J&K. The Infiltration bid was thwarted by Indian Army along LoC near Naushera Nard in the Gurez sector of Bandipora District. Chinar Corps in a post on ‘X’ informed that “a joint operation” was launched based on the intelligence provided by J&K police regarding the infiltration. As Indian Army troops spotted suspicious & open indiscriminate firing from terrorist, they responded with effective fire. In the effective counter fire, Indian Army successfully neutralized two terrorists. Chinar Corps on ‘X’ informed that anti-terror operation is still underway in the Bandipora region.
