लद्दाख के द्रास में एक बड़ा हादसा उस वक्त टल गया जब एक पिकअप व्हीकल केंद्रीय मंत्री के काफिले के ठीक आगे नदी में गिर गई. वाहन में सवार दो लोग उसमें फंस गए और मदद की राह देख रहे थे, लोगों को फंसा देख किरेन रिजिजू ने काफिला रुकवाया और दोनों लोगों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकालने में मदद की.

A major accident was averted in Drass, Ladakh when a pickup vehicle fell into a river right ahead of the convoy of a Union Minister. Two people in the vehicle were trapped in it and were waiting for help. Seeing the people trapped, Kiren Rijiju stopped the convoy and helped to get both the people out safely.
