Protesters are gearing up for rallies across Australia in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
Demonstrations are planned in more than 20 cities and towns in what organisers dub a “National Day of Action.”
Nearly two weeks ago Australia’s government pledged to recognise Palestinian statehood in September.
There’s been growing diplomatic tension with Israel ever since.
