Runaway loader careens though intersection, collides with SUV, traffic light pole
A runaway front-end loader plowed through an intersection in Milford, Mass. on Friday. An investigation found the loader’s brakes had failed, causing the 60,000-pound piece of equipment to strike a guardrail and a vehicle before crashing into a utility pole. No one, including the loader’s driver, was seriously hurt, according to police.
