Rescued Palestinian woman recounts horror of being buried under rubble after Israeli Gaza bombing
A Palestinian woman taking refuge in central Gaza has been pulled from the rubble after Israeli forces bombed the building where she was staying.
Saja Hamad was miraculously rescued from the ruins in Deir el-Balah and taken to the overwhelmed al-Aqsa Hospital.
Treated on the floor, she recounted the terror of waking trapped and screaming for her family, believing them dead.
Though comforted by their survival, their ordeal continues.
Their home was destroyed long ago, and this attack marks their 14th displacement.
