जम्मू कश्मीर के विभिन्न जिलों में भारी बारिश के कारण कई नदियों और नालों में अचानक बाढ़ आ गई है, साथ ही कुछ जगहों पर भूस्खलन और यातायात बाधित होने की भी सूचना है. अधिकारियों ने बताया कि बारिश के कारण कई इमारतों को नुकसान पहुंचा है, इसके बाद मुगल रोड अवरुद्ध हो गया है और जम्मू-श्रीनगर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर वाहनों की आवाजाही भी बाधित हुई है. जम्मू में मूसलाधार बारिश के कारण बान टोल प्लाजा के पास राजमार्ग के एक हिस्से पर जलजमाव हो गया, जिससे यातायात बाधित हो गया और यात्रियों को बहुत असुविधाओं का सामना करना पड़ा.

Heavy rains in various districts of Jammu and Kashmir have caused flash floods in several rivers and streams, along with landslides and traffic disruptions reported at some places. Officials said that several buildings were damaged due to the rains, following which the Mughal Road was blocked and vehicular movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was also disrupted. Torrential rains in Jammu led to waterlogging on a section of the highway near Ban Toll Plaza, disrupting traffic and causing a lot of inconvenience to commuters.
