Bessent: I believe there will be a bilateral meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Tuesday that his “strong belief” is that there will be a bilateral meeting between Russian President Putin and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.

Bessent also said that Friday’s historic summit between President Trump and President Putin in Alaska was a “show of force” by the U.S., in addition to being an important step toward ending the war in Ukraine.
