Ukraine Peace Summit: ‘Dialogue is the way forward’ India reacts to Trump-Putin Alaska meet
Hours later after the All-Important summit, India on Aug 16 reacted to Trump and Putin’s meeting in Alaska. US’ Donald Trump and Russia’s Vladimir Putin met for a high-stake meet in Alaska on August 15. New Delhi praised Trump, Putin’s efforts to end Ukraine war, stating “The way forward can only be through dialogue and diplomacy”. “India welcomes the Summit meeting in Alaska, their leadership in the pursuit of peace is highly commendable”, MEA said in a press release.
