#Firstpost Beating Retreat 2025 LIVE: Beating Retreat Ceremony at Attari-Wagah Border | Independence Day 2025
India’s Border Security Forces and Pakistani Rangers performed the iconic Beating Retreat Ceremony at Attari-Wagah border. BSF featured a live musical band. The event would be followed by the Change of Guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces. Soldiers from the both the countries will march in a perfect drill. The Beating Retreat ceremony has been jointly performed by both the Asian neighbours since 1959. They conduct the Beating Retreat ceremony twice a year. The other one is held a day before January 26, the Republic Day.
