Cloudburst, Flash Flood devastate Kishtwar claims 32 lives, many feared trapped, rescue ops underway
At least thirty-two people were killed after a massive cloudburst triggered a flash flood in the Chashoti area of Kishtwar on August 14. The massive cloudburst devastated Kishtwar creating a sense of panic among the locals, the tragedy has left hundreds displaced. As per the Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar, Pankaj Sharma, multiple rescue operations are underway. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has assured all possible help to the affected families
