ED arrests Sandeepa Virk in fake FDA beauty products scam
The Enforcement Directorate has arrested Instagram influencer Sandeepa Virk for alleged money laundering tied to a fake FDA beauty products scam. Acting on a Punjab FIR, ED searched multiple Delhi and Mumbai locations on August 12–13. Virk allegedly ran hyboocare.com, selling non-existent products at inflated prices as a front for laundering funds and acquiring property. The probe also connects her to ex-Reliance Capital director A N Sethuraman over dubious multi-crore loans. ED has seized incriminating documents, records, and property.
