Violence is erupting in Bengal ahead of the first phase of voting; consequently, the Election Commission has put in place massive security arrangements to crack down on miscreants. From Murshidabad to Malda, security forces have been deployed at every nook and cranny. For the second phase as well, 38,000 police personnel have been deployed alongside the CRPF.
