UK’s 2020 Huawei ban was down to US, says ex minister #CGTN

As the UK resets its relationship with China, questions remain over how to balance economic cooperation with political differences.

Former Culture Minister Lord Ed Vaizey, who once oversaw Britain’s engagement with China’s telecoms giant Huawei, told CGTN’s Li Jianhua the negative policy shift from London came, in part, under pressure from Washington.
