बंगाल में पहला वोट पड़ने में अब कुछ घंटे बचे हैं. इस बार चुनाव बहुत COMPLEX है. मुस्लिम और महिला वोट का डबल इंजन ममता को कोलकाता पहुंचाता रहा है. हिंदू वोट डिवाइड होता रहा है. बंगाल का हिंदू भद्रलोक वामपंथी राजनीति के अंत के बाद ममता की तरफ शिफ्ट हो गया. पिछले चुनाव में बीजेपी ने बहुत कोशिश की, इस वोट में सेंध लगाई भी लेकिन भद्रलोक की लॉयल्टी MORE OR LESS ममता के साथ ही रही.

The “double engine” of Muslim and women’s votes has consistently propelled Mamata to power in Kolkata. The Hindu vote, meanwhile, has remained divided. Following the demise of Leftist politics, Bengal’s Hindu *Bhadralok* shifted their allegiance toward Mamata. In the previous election, the BJP made a concerted effort—and even managed to make inroads into this vote bank—yet the loyalty of the *Bhadralok* remained, more or less, with Mamata.
