“I will say the war in Iran is going along swimmingly,” Trump said. “It should be ending pretty soon.”

Trump added that the war was “was perfect” as he praised the power of the U.S. military.

The president’s rare trip out West comes as Trump faces growing political pressure to wrap up the Iran war and focus on a message that helps his party as they try to defend their congressional majorities in November’s elections.
