पीएम मोदी ने कहा, हरिवंश जी का जन्म जेपी के गांव में हुआ और सहज रूप से ग्रामीण पृष्ठभूमि के कारण वो अपने गांव के विकास के लिए विद्यार्थी काल से भी कुछ न कुछ करते और उनकी शिक्षा-दिक्षा काशी में हुई। आज 17 अप्रैल है और 17 अप्रैल, 1927 हमारे पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री चन्द्रशेखर जी की जन्म जयंती भी है और विशेषता ये भी है कि आज 17 अप्रैल को आप जब तीसरी बार इस दायित्व को संभालने जा रहे हैं, चन्द्रशेखर जी के साथ आपका जुड़ाव, उनके प्रति आपका लगाव रहा और एक प्रकार से आप उनके सहयात्री रहे, उनके पूरे कार्यकाल में, ये अपने आप में एक बड़ा सुयोग है।

PM Modi stated, “Harivansh-ji was born in JP’s village; naturally—given his rural background—he remained actively engaged in the development of his village right from his student days, and he received his education and upbringing in Kashi. Today is April 17th—a date that also marks the birth anniversary of our former Prime Minister, Chandra Shekhar-ji, who was born on April 17, 1927. It is a remarkable coincidence that today—April 17th—as you prepare to assume this responsibility for the third time, it coincides with the birth anniversary of Chandra Shekhar-ji—a leader with whom you shared a deep connection and affection, and whose fellow traveler, in a sense, you remained throughout his entire tenure. This, in itself, is a truly auspicious alignment.”
