कॉन्स्टीट्यूशन अमेंडमेंट बिल का सबसे ज़्यादा विरोध तमिलनाडु, कर्नाटक, केरलम और तेलंगाना में हो रहा है. तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री स्टालिन ने कॉन्स्टीट्यूशन अमेंडमेंट बिल के विरोध का अभियान शुरू किया है. स्टालिन की अपील पर DMK समर्थकों ने अपने अपने घरों पर काले झंडे लगाकर बिल के विरोध की शुरुआत की. ख़ुद स्टालिन ने आज काला कपड़ा पहनकर, अपने घर पर ब्लैक फ्लैग लगाया और उसके बाद कॉन्स्टीट्यूशन अमेंडमेंट बिल की कॉपी जलाई.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin has launched a campaign to oppose the Constitutional Amendment Bill. Responding to Stalin’s appeal, DMK supporters initiated their protest against the bill by hoisting black flags at their respective homes. Stalin himself wore black attire today, hoisted a black flag at his residence, and subsequently burned a copy of the Constitutional Amendment Bill.
