प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने सभी दलों से अपील की कि लोकसभा और विधानसभाओं में महिलाओं को 33 परसेंट आरक्षण देने का रास्ता साफ करने में सहयोग करें. सरकार ने जो संविधान संशोधन बिल पेश किया है उसे सपोर्ट करें. इसमें सबका फायदा है. मोदी ने कहा कि जो पार्टियां इसका विरोध करेंगी उन्हें लंबे वक्त तक इसका खामियाजा भुगतना पड़ेगा. असल में सरकार 2029 से महिला आरक्षण लागू करना चाहती है इसके लिए संसद का विशेष सत्र बुलाया गया है.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to all political parties to cooperate in paving the way for providing 33 percent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies. He urged them to support the Constitutional Amendment Bill introduced by the government, noting that it is in everyone’s interest. Modi stated that any parties opposing this measure would have to face the consequences for a long time to come. In essence, the government aims to implement women’s reservation starting from 2029, and a special session of Parliament has been convened for this purpose.
