समाजवादी पार्टी और RJD जैसे कई दल महिला आरक्षण के भीतर obc महिलाओं के लिए आरक्षण की मांग कर रहे हैं… आज, प्रधानमंत्री ने इसका भी जवाब दिया…मोदी ने कहा कि एक बार महिलाओं को उनका हक़ तो मिलने दीजिए …आगे के फैसले नारी शक्ति ख़ुद करेगी… जैसे ही मोदी ने ये बात कही तो समाजवादी पार्टी के सांसद धर्मेन्द्र यादव खड़े हुए…और कहा कि मोदी खुद पिछड़े वर्ग से हैं….और पिछड़ों के अधिकारों का ख्याल नहीं रखना चाहते… धर्मेन्द्र यादव की इस बात को मोदी ने पकड़ लिया…और ऐसा जवाब दिया कि अखिलेश यादव को हाथ जोडने पड़े…

Today, the Prime Minister addressed this issue as well. Modi stated, “First, let women receive their rightful share; future decisions regarding this will be made by *Nari Shakti* (women’s power) themselves.” As soon as Modi made this remark, Samajwadi Party MP Dharmendra Yadav stood up and interjected, pointing out that Modi himself hails from a backward class, yet appears unwilling to safeguard the rights of the backward communities. Modi seized upon this point made by Dharmendra Yadav and delivered such a resounding retort that Akhilesh Yadav was compelled to fold his hands in deference.
