IRGC warns Trump: No Gulf ports safe over US Hormuz blockade
An Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corp (#IRGC) spokesperson said on Monday that “no port in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will be safe” if Iranian port security is threatened. In a statement read on television, IRGC spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaghari said Tehran would continue to control the Strait of Hormuz and deny passage to vessels linked to what it described as enemy forces. #US President Donald Trump said he would now block Iran’s ships starting from 1400 GMT on Monday.
