Renowned playback singer Asha Tai has embarked on her eternal journey. She was accorded a final farewell with full state honors at the Shivaji Park crematorium in Mumbai. A massive sea of humanity poured onto the streets of Mumbai as her final procession made its way through the city. The streets reverberated with chants of “Asha Tai Amar Rahe” (Long Live Asha Tai).
