ASEAN foreign ministers urge US and Iran to push for permanent end to conflict
ASEAN has called on the US and Iran to continue negotiations for a permanent end to the conflict. The bloc’s foreign ministers have held a virtual meeting and released a statement, urging full and effective implementation of the two-week ceasefire. They also called for the restoration of safe, unimpeded and continuous transit through the Strait of Hormuz. Mariejo Ramos reports from Manila.
