Amazon to Discontinue Support to Kindles Released Prior to 2012
Amazon is discontinuing support for older Kindle devices released in 2012 or earlier. Users of these devices will no longer be able to purchase, borrow, or download any additional books. Amazon says it’s offering promotions to help users transition to newer models.
