मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने भवानीपुर से नॉमीनेशन फाइल किया. पर्चा भरने से पहले ममता ने भवानीपुर में बड़ा रोड शो किया. यहां ममता का मुकाबला बीजेपी के नेता सुवेन्दु अधिकारी से है. सुवेन्दु ने पिछले इलैक्शन में ममता को नंदीग्राम सीट पर हराया था. इसके बाद ममता भवानीपुर से बाई इलैक्शन जीतकर विधानसभा में पहुंची थीं. लेकिन इस बार भवानीपुर में भी ममता की राह आसान नहीं हैं क्योंकि बाई इलैक्शन में ममता करीब 58 हजार वोटों से जीतीं थी. लेकिन SIR में भवानीपुर के 47 हजार से ज्यादा लोगों के नाम वोटर लिस्ट से कट गए, इसलिए ममता बनर्जी टेंशन में हैं.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has filed her nomination papers from Bhabanipur. Prior to filing her papers, Mamata held a massive roadshow in Bhabanipur. Here, Mamata faces a challenge from BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. Suvendu had defeated Mamata in the previous election for the Nandigram seat. Subsequently, Mamata entered the Legislative Assembly by winning a by-election from Bhabanipur. However, her path is not easy in Bhabanipur this time around either, as she had won the by-election by a margin of approximately 58,000 votes. Yet, due to the removal of over 47,000 names from the voter list in Bhabanipur, Mamata Banerjee is currently facing a situation of concern.
