CNA Explains: Why the Moon’s far side is so valuable
NASA’s Artemis II mission has sent humans farther into space than ever before, flying past the Moon’s far side and testing technology for future missions to Mars. The far side of the Moon, hidden from Earth, is one of the most scientifically valuable places in our solar system. Its heavily cratered surface also preserves billions of years of space history and may hold resources like water ice for future lunar missions. CNA’s Julie Yoo takes a closer look.
