Singapore Parliament: Three ministers to deliver statements on impact of US-Israel war on Iran
Three ministers are scheduled to speak on the impact of the Middle East situation when Parliament sits on Tuesday. More than 60 oral questions have been filed on the impact of the war on Iran – including on rising fuel and energy prices, cost of living expenses and supply chain resilience. CNA spoke with Associate Professor Eugene Tan from SMU’s School of Law. He shared his thoughts on the war’s impact, what policies the government could directly influence and how the support might look like.
