चुनाव आयोग ने बताया कि 60 लाख आपत्तियों पर सुनवाई पूरी हो गई. इन साठ लाख में से 27 लाख वोटर्स के नाम काटे गए हैं. न्यायिक अधिकारियों की सुनवाई के बाद कुल 33 लाख लोगों के नाम वोटर लिस्ट में जोड़े गए हैं. इलेक्शन कमीशन ने ये भी साफ कर दिया कि ज्यूडीशियल अफसरों ने जिन वोटर्स को वैलिड माना है उनका नाम वोटर लिस्ट में जोड कर दिया गया है. जिन लोगों के नाम वोटर लिस्ट से बाहर हैं वो इस चुनाव में वोट नहीं दे सकेंगे लेकिन ये लोग ट्रिब्यूनल में अपील कर सकेंगे.

The Election Commission stated that hearings regarding 6 million objections have been completed. Out of these 6 million cases, the names of 2.7 million voters have been struck off. Following hearings conducted by judicial officers, the names of a total of 3.3 million individuals have been added to the voter list. The Election Commission further clarified that the names of those voters deemed valid by the judicial officers have been duly included in the voter list. Individuals whose names do not appear on the voter list will be unable to cast their votes in this election; however, they retain the right to file an appeal before a tribunal.
