Iran ‘targets’ Amazon’s cloud computing center in Bahrain
Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB released footage on Thursday of a rocket launch, which Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said was targeting an Amazon cloud computing center in Bahrain.
Earlier in the week the IRGC said that in retaliation for attacks on Iran, it would target the Middle Eastern properties of a list of US companies including Apple, Boeing, Cisco, Dell, GE, Google, HP, IBM, Intel, JP Morgan Chase, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, Oracle, Palantir, Spire Solution and Tesla.
“From now on, for every assassination, an American company will be destroyed,” read a post on a Guard-affiliated Telegram channel.
