Reuters German zoo celebrates birth of rare Malayan tapir

A rare Malayan tapir has been born at a zoo in southern Germany, with a curator at Nuremberg Zoo saying the birth went ‘wonderfully well.’ The yet-to-be-named female was on her feet ‘within seconds,’ the curator said.
