During this meeting, PM Modi stated that India’s preparedness is complete and that the impact of the conflict will not be allowed to affect the general public. This marked the second CCS meeting since the US-Israeli airstrikes on Iran on February 28. During the meeting, the steps taken by the government in light of this conflict were reviewed; additionally, the supply and demand of various commodities—including oil and gas—were assessed. PM Modi reviewed the measures undertaken to keep the prices of essential commodities stable and issued directives to take action against hoarding and black marketing. The Prime Minister also emphasized the need to ensure that accurate information reaches the public, thereby preventing the spread of rumors. Furthermore, the Prime Minister directed all government departments to take every necessary step to mitigate the difficulties faced by the people and regions affected by this situation.
