Tiger Woods Says He’s ‘Stepping Away’ to Focus on His Health
Tiger Woods is breaking his silence after being arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a crash in Florida where he allegedly clipped a vehicle’s trailer and flipped his SUV. “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health,” he said. Woods allegedly had two opioid pain pills in his pocket, identified as hydrocodone, according to the arresting officer’s newly released affidavit. NBC’s Jesse Kirsch reports for TODAY.
