FOX 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul Barbie Dream Fest in Florida outrages fans: ‘I asked for a refund’

The disappointing offerings of the Barbie Dream Fest in Florida went viral across the internet as people compared the event to the Fyre Festival and Wilk Wonka experience.

The event was touted as the “ultimate Barbie fan event,” featuring a star-studded roster of guests, an interactive Barbie Dreamhouse, exclusive merchandise and “unforgettable experiences.”

But many guests left the event disappointed after the organizers failed to deliver on these promises. Lackluster decorations, confusing programming, and a lack of vendors were among the complaints attendees had for the festival.
