Tokyo meanwhile is stepping up energy cooperation with Indonesia. Also on East Asia Tonight, China welcomes an EU parliamentary delegation to the country. It’s the first such visit in eight years. However, friction remains over trade, human rights and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
