CNA War on Iran: Pakistan hosts foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Egypt for talks
Foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Egypt have gathered in Islamabad, as Pakistan hosts talks aimed at ending the month-long war on Iran. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will lead the talks, with efforts to de-escalate tensions a key priority on the agenda. Neither the US nor Iran will be participating. Israel will not be involved either. The talks come days after Washington offered Tehran a 15-point “action list” as a framework for a possible peace deal. But Iran has publicly rejected it.
