China urges the US to exercise prudence concerning Taiwan question
The Chinese Defense Ministry says the United States should be prudent in its words and actions regarding the Taiwan question. The response follows a March assessment by the US intelligence community that China prefers to achieve reunification without using force, followed by Taiwan authorities later hyping threats from the mainland. On Thursday, Jiang Bin, spokesperson for China’s Ministry of National Defense, said the Taiwan question is purely China’s internal affair.
