CNA Panic-buying sets in as fuel prices soar in Thailand
Fuel prices in Thailand surged on Thursday (Mar 26) after the government lifted the cap on diesel prices and reduced fuel subsidies.
The majority of fuel types rose by 6 baht (US$0.18) per liter. Diesel prices jumped from around 33 baht to 39 baht per liter (US$1-1.19), or about 18%.
