China’s top legislator Zhao Leji advocates peace and stability
China’s top legislator Zhao Leji, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, said the people of Asia deeply cherish peace and stability. Zhao, who is a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, urged Asian countries to uphold a “common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security” vision. In his call, he stressed the principle of respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries.
