Fourteen days after a devastating strike destroyed a girls’ primary school in Minab, questions continue to mount over what exactly happened that morning. The attack left classrooms in ruins, with school bags and notebooks scattered across the debris, and more than 160 children and teachers reported dead. Investigations by international media, including satellite imagery analysis, geolocated videos, and recovered weapons fragments, have raised the possibility that a Tomahawk cruise missile may have been used in the strike.
While the United States has yet to issue a definitive statement, the incident could become one of the deadliest civilian tragedies of the ongoing conflict. In a rare public reaction, Mojtaba Khamenei blamed Washington and warned that those responsible would be held accountable.
