Iran striking Gulf neighbours a ‘big mistake’: UAE journalist
Mina Al-Oraibi, editor-in-chief of the Abu Dhabi-based outlet the National, said that while many initially sympathized with Iran after last week’s U.S.-Israeli strikes, blame has shifted toward Tehran as it continues attacks on Gulf countries. Al-Oraibi said that Iran aims to inflict ‘maximum pressure’ on the U.S. and Israel, targeting the Gulf states — particularly the U.A.E., a key U.S. ally.
