Among them were Nong Jiagui, a rural teacher who has dedicated 40 years to a village primary school and guided 126 children out of the mountains; Xu Shixiao, an athlete who made a comeback at 25 and secured consecutive Olympic gold medals; and Wang Wenyi, a young pilot dedicated to safeguarding our nation and its people.
