China has rolled out various incentives to boost the country’s birth rates. The issue will again be addressed at this year’s annual legislative session, known as the Two Sessions. In CGTN’s special series “Mission for Millions,” CGTN reporter Huang Yichang followed Xie Wenmin, a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, in the days leading up to her proposal on optimizing policies for a more birth-friendly environment.
