CGTN Trump speaks for first time since strikes on Iran

US President Donald Trump delivered his first public statements since start of US and Israeli joint strikes on Iran. Trump said the strikes were in response to Iran restarting its nuclear operations, despite saying last June that an airstrike “obliterated” it. The Operation Epic Fury attacks devastated the country’s leadership, killing Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with scores of civilians and military personnel.
