Simon Lichtenberg, a Danish entrepreneur who has lived in Shanghai for more than three decades, has gained firsthand experience of China’s whole-process people’s democracy.
He has taken part in legislative consultations and seen many of his suggestions adopted into policy documents or incorporated into Chinese laws.
