Bill Clinton testifies on Epstein: No one is above the law, not even presidents
Former U.S. President Bill Clinton testified before the House Oversight Committee on Friday about his dealings with Jeffrey Epstein. In remarks made after testifying, he stressed that the United States was built on the idea that no one is above the law. Clinton said he had only a limited acquaintance with Epstein, had no prior knowledge of his crimes, and cut ties long before Epstein’s 2008 guilty plea. The former president called on others to testify before Congress and urged the Justice Department to release all related files, saying survivors deserve full accountability.
