CNA Singapore to acquire three Gulfstream G550 maritime surveillance aircraft
Defence Minister Chan Chun Sing has underscored the importance for Singapore to modernise and upgrade defence capabilities ahead of time amid growing global volatility. He also reaffirmed the importance of National Service. Defence spending is projected to hit about S$24.9 billion this year, up over 6% from 2025. This includes the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s acquisition of three Gulfstream G550 maritime surveillance aircraft. Alif Amsyar reports.
