Canadians continue to demand a hard line on U.S. relations, poll suggests

Polling data from the Angus Reid Institute suggests that 69 per cent of Canadians surveyed prefer Canada approach the U.S. as a potential threat or with caution. Éric Grenier, polling analyst for the Writ, says this shows a ‘long-term’ impact on Canadian views of the U.S., as polling data from last year showed a high disapproval rate from Canadians of the Trump administration.
