A month into the White House campaign, the Trump administration threatens tariffs on fuel suppliers; President Claudia Scheinbaum says oil shipments are halted, but food and medical aid will continue. Nationwide collection points reflect public support, though some warn the effort is symbolic, underscoring strain in Mexico’s ties with Cuba and the US.
