CNA US men’s hockey team attend Trump’s State of the Union address

US President Trump welcomed the Winter Olympics gold-winning US men’s hockey team to his State of the Union address and announced the Presidential Medal of Freedom will be awarded to goalie Connor Hellebuyck. The men’s team is under fire for laughing at a sexist joke Trump had made on a congratulatory call to them, insinuating that he would have no choice but to invite the women’s team to the White House as well. The US women’s hockey team has won more gold medals than the men’s team.
