Ahead of PM Modi’s state visit to Israel, Country’s LoP Yair Lapid shared a special message for PM. Israel’s Opposition Leader Yair Lapid extended a warm & heartfelt welcome message in Hindi to PM Modi. Israel LoP Yair Lapid, on his X post, called PM Modi a true friend stating ‘All of Israel is eager to welcome him tomorrow’. He also emphasised that the India-Israel relationship goes beyond strategy, describing it as a deep bond of friendship b/w the two nations. PM Modi’s return to Israel after eight years marks a decisive shift from political caution to a high-stakes military alliance.The visit comes at the invitation of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu & marks the PM’s second visit to Israel. According to MEA, the leaders are also expected to exchange perspectives on regional & global issues of mutual interest.Meanwhile trade representatives of both the nations have begun talks on Free Trade Agreement ahead of the key visit.
