TODAY Rachel Reid on What Shane Hollander’s Cottage Means to Her

What does Shane Hollander’s cottage in “Heated Rivalry” mean to author Rachel Reid? On the Open Book with Jenna podcast, Reid tells Jenna Bush Hager, “I love the idea of it being like a safe space, a place you can be yourself, where you can be loved and cared for.” Reid shared that her “cottage” is her home with her husband and children.

Reid announced on Feb. 24 that she has pushed back the publication date of her upcoming book about Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander, “Unrivaled,” due to worsening symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. The book will now publish on June 1, 2027. The initial release was scheduled for September 2026.
